Here at el Rancho we always count on Mr. Skeeto to let us know when it’s time for another log on the fire.  He’s been hard at it all morning….we are hovering at a very frigid 24 degrees, with 90% humidity, and a brisk North wind to really chill you to the bone.

Poor li’l Skeeto has Alopecia-X (a hair growth cycle abnormality), which causes him to go bald in places – mostly on his neck and back.  I know he doesn’t much prefer that silly little fleece shirt, but I bet he’s thanking me for insisting he wear it today.  And I’m thankful to be spending the day snuggling with my little fireplace patrol guy.

Now I believe it’s time for another jug of coffee…
